From the beginning - since the introduction of the IMDS system in 2000 - trainings were carried out for automotive manufacturers, and later also for automotive suppliers, on behalf of HP (until 2006 operating under the name of Freund+Dirks).

The IMDS system quickly gained ground with the growing demand for recycling all components of vehicels and feeding them back to the recovered substance cycle. That way the IMDS system plays an important part in protecting nature and environment.

As authorized training partner of HP, we took on the responsibility to establish a range of public and exclusive IMDS trainings throughout Europe.

The specialization on the IMDS and the automotive industry as well as our high expertise led to an extension of the IMDS services in 2004 and additional service and consulting were offered. In 2006, Freund+Dirks outsourced its IMDS business devision to a seperate company named imds professional.

Today you can find an imds professional training location in almost every important European city.
