Overview Training Structure

IMDS Basics Course

Format: 2-day on-site training (No. 6120) or webinar with 4 x 3.5 hours (No. 6127):

In the very popular basic course, the focus is even more on practice with more exercises. The numerous exercises allow you to apply the knowledge you have learned even more effectively in the workplace. In addition to the regular content, we have included important current topics such as OEM information, the BDPR in IMDS and all information on the upcoming release 12.0 - so you are optimally informed about the innovations.

With this basic course you will master the practical use of IMDS to independently create, send and manage material data sheets (MDS) and to create structure trees yourself. You can use all basic functions of the IMDS, know the change management specifications and can implement them safely with the update function.

Participants learn the theory required for this course in advance in a four-hour introductory webinar.

The imds professional webinars

In addition to on-site trainings, imds professional offers webinars for the quick acquisition of subject-specific topics which are held live by a trainer. This has proven very successful in practice with the participants, who appreciate the advantage::

  • There are no travel expenses and no travel times
  • Participants have the opportunity to learn from home or at work
  • You communicate online via chat or headset/telephone with the trainer and other seminar participants and can ask questions that are answered by the trainer

That's what an enthusiastic participant says:
“The IMDS Basics webinar was a great experience. I could enjoy every minute of it. The webinar was very good at pointing out the essentials of IMDS. At first there was a short but very good overview to give us a correct idea of the overall functionality and purpose of the IMDS. Then the lecturer went deeper into the tools used by our staff in relation to our specific activity. The lecturer did a very good mix of theoretical basics and exercises, which made the webinar even more attractive. All in all, it was a very well prepared and very useful training. Many thanks imds professional!“

We will be happy to advise you on the selection of a suitable training course.
