dossier for reporting in the SCIP database. This is to ensure that only articles that actually contain confirmed SVHCs from the candidate list are submitted. All dossiers with more than 1,000 components submitted so far will not be processed until further notice and the submitters will receive a request to revise the dossier. \u201cQuality over quantity\u201d is the objective here. The goal, ECHA says, is not to have as many notifications as possible, but to have correct and accurate data that will help both recyclers and consumers.<\/p>\n<p>ECHA has compiled recommendations for correct dossier submission in its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/documents\/10162\/28213971\/Information_requirements_for_scip_notifications_en.pdf\/db2cf898-5ee7-48fb-e5c8-4e6ce49ee9d2?_cldee=Y2Fyc3Rlbmh6aW1tZXJtYW5uQGdtYWlsLmNvbQ%3d%3d&amp;recipientid=lead-eed7dae51ee8e8118107005056952b31-3398e3a6e2da407180ddc3620ce1380e&amp;esid=a2fae7f6-7b72-eb11-8129-005056b9310e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">user manual<\/a>. The manual is currently only available in English but will soon be published in 23 languages.<\/p>\n<p>Help is also available in this\u00a0ECHA guide, and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/de\/support\/qas-support\/browse\/-\/qa\/70Qx\/view\/topic\/Waste+Framework+Directive+-+SCIP+database\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Q&amp;A<\/a>\u00a0answers common questions on the SCIP database. You can also contact the ECHA helpdesk via this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/comments.echa.europa.eu\/comments_cms\/Contact_scip.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact form<\/a>. However, you might need to be patient since the response for individual inquiries can take a little longer currently.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone submitting via system-to-system (S2S) solutions is asked to adapt their IT systems according to the requirements stated in said user manual and guide. Updated support material shall soon be available, too, including recommendations and best practices for successful S2S integration.
