You could be mistaken, though, because many products contain:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, for example in copper or aluminium alloys (fasteners, housings, cable conduits, etc.),<\/li>\n<li>Plasticizers (phthalates), such as DEHP (plastic injection moulded parts, interior and exterior linings, gaskets, etc.),<\/li>\n<li>Flame retardants, such as DecaBDE (car seat covers, printed circuit boards, insulating materials, housings of electrical and electronic equipment, etc.),<\/li>\n<li>Binding or release agents and stabilizers such as dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (in plastics, paper, paints, inks, coatings, cleaning and polishing agents, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total, there are currently more than 200 SVHC substances on the ECHA candidate list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What now?<\/strong><br \/>\nIn order to facilitate compliance with the notification duty, the SCIP database has been available as a prototype since February. From October onwards, you will be able to submit your information to ECHA using SCIP as a so-called dossier.
