rel=\"noopener\">REACH<\/a> and POP regulations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imds-professional.com\/en\/eu-rohs-directive-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RoHS<\/a> and toy safety directives may also play a role. In particular, products made of rubber or plastic as well as textiles should be checked. Certain substances are banned or restricted in the EU to protect the environment and health. However, <a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/-\/1-in-4-imported-products-found-to-be-non-compliant-with-reach-and-clp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">violations of the legal requirements<\/a> are found again and again &#8211; especially with imports.<\/p><p>&#8220;In this context, it is important to have complete documentation and reliable reporting along the entire supply chain,&#8221; explains Markus Engel, Project Manager Material Compliance at imds professional. This is because inspectors will also check whether information about substances of very high concern in products is passed on in the supply chain. &#8220;In the automotive industry, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imds-professional.com\/en\/imds-database-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IMDS<\/a> has become established for this purpose.
