IMDS. However, DXC Technology, as the operator of the system, recommends already following the new guidelines now. The guidelines IMDS001, IMDS007, IMDS008, IMDS011, IMDS012 and IMDS019 have been revised.<\/p><p>What do the changes mean in concrete terms? A few examples:<\/p><p>First, good news for all those who previously had problems classifying their silver pastes, etc., correctly in the IMDS: With the update of the Recommendations, in this particular case Rec019, it has now been regulated that the pastes have found their place in classification 7.2 (glass\/ceramics). In the future, this should also solve the problem that many suppliers could not provide application codes for lead.<\/p><p>Guideline 3.2.3.a: Deleted MDSs or those containing deactivated substances must not be transferred to existing MDS IDs.<\/p><p>This guideline should be followed in any case to avoid rejections and rework times. Sampling deadlines could otherwise also not be met.<\/p><p>A table has been introduced in Rule 4.4.2.C and it states that the deviation between the measured and calculated weight per item must not exceed the values specified in the table.<\/p><p>New inclusion in Rec001<\/p><p>In Release 13.2 the structure mix was introduced, in Release 14 (planned for late 2022\/early 2023) this will be partially withdrawn.<\/p><p>Rule 4.1.A:<\/p><p>Subnodes of the same parent node must be of the same type (e.g., a parent semi-finished node may consist of all semi-finished subnodes or all material subnodes, but not a mix of semi-finished and material subnodes).<\/p><p>A mixture of components with semi-finished products or materials on the same level is allowed if the material or semi-finished product is not an article but a coating, lubricant or similar added to the component.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dc946c3
