Nine potentially hazardous substances (so-called SVHC) have been added. The substances are used, for example, in flame retardants, paints and coatings, inks and toners, coating products, plasticizers, and in the production of pulp and paper. Inclusion in the candidate list is accompanied by far-reaching information obligations in the supply chain.
