in the USA or import them there must report them retroactively to 2011. However, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has now postponed the start of the reporting period to July 2025. Originally, it was supposed to start on November 12, 2024. Information must be reported on the chemical identity, uses, quantities produced and processed, by-products, environmental and health effects, worker exposure and disposal. The aim is to research, monitor and regulate PFAS more effectively in order to minimize the impact on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Notifications must be completed by January 11, 2026. Small businesses that only report data on imports of PFAS contained in articles have until July 11, 2026.
