For companies, this means that processes must be reviewed, deadlines met, and new requirements implemented. Acting now ensures compliance and avoids risks. Here are the most important points for 2026:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>1. IUCLID becomes mandatory for renewal applications<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<p>From July 1, 2026, all renewal applications for active substances under the BPR must be submitted in IUCLID format. The aim is to achieve a uniform data structure and more efficient processing. Companies should adapt their data processes at an early stage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>2. Deadlines for active substance renewals<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<p>The 550-day deadline before the expiry of the active substance authorization remains crucial. Numerous substances require renewal applications by 2026\/27. Those who miss these deadlines risk losing their approval.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>3. New active substances approved<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li class=\"scriptor-listItemlist!list-ad02a1e5-8328-44a7-b696-2fb5db2f19a60\">BIT (1,2-benzisothiazol-3-(2H)-one): Approved for PT 6 and PT 13 (May 2025)<\/li>\n<li class=\"scriptor-listItemlist!list-ad02a1e5-8328-44a7-b696-2fb5db2f19a60\">DBNPA (2,2-dibromo-2-cyanoacetamide): Approval for PT 6 from October 2026<\/li>\n<li class=\"scriptor-listItemlist!list-ad02a1e5-8328-44a7-b696-2fb5db2f19a60\">Formic acid: Approval for PT 6 from November 2026<\/li>\n<li class=\"scriptor-listItemlist!list-ad02a1e5-8328-44a7-b696-2fb5db2f19a60\">Other active substances such as MIT will follow in early 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>4.
