IMDS for OEM

Vehicle manufacturers use the IMDS to fulfil their
material-compliance obligations. DXC Technology (formerly EDS) developed the IMDS in 1999 on behalf of Audi, BMW, Daimler, Ford, Opel, Porsche, VW, and Volvo. Now, more than 100 automotive OEMs belong to the IMDS network and the system has become the global standard. Manufacturers of E/E components have also recently joined the consortium. The IMDS makes it possible to comply with all national and international standards, laws, and regulations relating to materials reporting.

Many OEMs now also use the iPCA solution from iPoint, the IMDS-a2 or MaCS from DXC Technology to collect, analyze and process their data. We are very familiar with all of these systems and can support you both during implementation and use.
