REACH
Due to its harmful effects, another flame retardant was added to the REACH candidate list in June. With its classification as an SVHC (it is considered toxic to reproduction), bis(α,α-dimethylbenzyl) peroxide must now be reported if this substance is contained in products at more than 0.1 percent by weight. And not only to customers (in accordance with the REACH regulation), but also to the SCIP database. You can find the current candidate list here.
