Objective:
You will understand the fundamentals, objectives, and key legal framework of materials and product compliance.

Objective:
You will be familiar with the basic requirements of international regulations such as REACH, RoHS, the POP Regulation, and the Packaging Regulation (PPWR), as well as their significance for companies throughout the value chain.

Preparation & Examination
First, you will participate in a short preparatory webinar in which the process and technical requirements will be explained.
The certification exam—administered by TÜV Rheinland—serves as formal proof of your professional competence.
The exam assesses whether you:
- have a solid grasp of relevant regulations,
- can assess interrelationships with technical accuracy,
- and can not only apply the necessary measures but also take responsibility for them.
Upon passing the exam, you will receive the officially recognized PersCert TÜV certificate.
Prerequisite:
All seminars / seminar content from the MC Professional (PersCert TÜV) course → Levels 1+2
Level 3
Objective:
You will gain in-depth knowledge of the practical application and implementation of material compliance requirements within companies.
You will be able to confidently interpret regulatory obligations under relevant international regulations such as REACH, RoHS, POP, the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive, TSCA, and CP65, apply them to products and materials, and systematically evaluate supporting documentation.
You can review supplier declarations and technical documentation, prepare declarations and reports, and coordinate internal and external communication processes.
In addition, you have a fundamental understanding of industry-specific characteristics, for example in fields such as automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or electronics, and can contextualize regulatory requirements.
You act as a technical liaison between development, procurement, quality, and sustainability, and actively contribute to ensuring product compliance.

- confidently apply relevant regulations,
- correctly evaluate technical interrelationships,
- not only implement required measures but also take responsibility for them.
Upon successfully passing the exam, you will receive the officially recognized PersCert TÜV certificate.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of all seminars / seminar content of the MC Professional program → Level 1 + 2
- Completion of the relevant seminars / seminar content for the MC Officer (PersCert TÜV) → Level 3
Note: The MC Professional (PersCert TÜV) certification is not a prerequisite for the MC Officer (PersCert TÜV) certification.
Level 4
Objective:
You have a comprehensive understanding of the legal and organizational foundations of material compliance and can apply them strategically within a corporate context.
You understand the interdependencies between key international regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS, POP, PPWR, End-of-Life Vehicles Directive) and their implications for management systems, supply chains, and product liability.
You are able to define organizational structures and responsibilities, establish processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements, and monitor their effectiveness.
Level 5
Objective:
You are able to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process performance, identify risks, and derive improvement potential.
In addition, you support internal audits, training measures, and management reviews, ensure clear allocation of responsibilities, and sustainably embed material compliance within the company in an efficient and legally compliant manner.

Note: The MC Professional (PersCert TÜV) certification is not a prerequisite for the MC Manager (PersCert TÜV) certification.
