iPCA – LCM (Life Cycle Management) is the area within iPCA (iPoint Compliance Agent) used to manage master data, configuration settings, user privileges, and customer requests throughout the entire process. iPCA LCM provides structured and traceable processes for handling life cycle assessment topics and supports compliance and sustainability requirements through systematic data collection and management.
Objective
You are familiar with the general process of customer requests and the terms and definitions in IPoint Compliance Agent. You will learn how to configure LCM and how to assign required privileges to users. You will learn how to manage plants and projects. You know how to use the search criteria to limit the search to the expected scope. You understand the process and assigned status for customer requests received via IMDS and created internally using the iPCA. You develop knowledge of the impact of assigning / unassigning a customer request to a MDS and how to update the related recipient data. You understand the meaning of the due date indicator.
Your benefit: You will learn how to manage the master data for LCM as well as the configuration. You will learn how to assign privileges to users to let them work in LCM depending on their scope and requirements. You understand the full process of customer requests in iPCA, including requests received via IMDS and the interpretation of their automatically assigned status.
