Question 1:

Working with IMDS would be simpler for me if I were able to open IMDS multiple times in one go. Is this possible, or have the changes led to complications?

Answer:

Yes, this can easily be done by working with two different browsers on one PC so that you are able to open IMDS twice at a time.
Note: Please remember that you need two different user access to execute this.


Question 2:

Is it absolutely necessary to store a REACH contact in IMDS?

Answer:

No, that is not absolutely

IMDS Release 10 is scheduled to go live on 19 November 2015 and represents an advanced version of the IMDS system with its enhancements.
