A new check will be introduced to analyze whether material data sheets (MDSs) contain materials of classification 8.1 (electronics) or 8.2 (electrical). This is because these classifications were already deactivated in May 2021 as part of IMDS Release 13.0. As a result, materials with these classifications could no longer be created or released. If such material exists at any level in the MDS (not just direct references), a warning will be displayed from July.
