Objective
You are fully qualified to take on the role of an “IMDS contact person” for your own company as well as for its customers and suppliers. In addition, you possess the technical expertise required to lead IMDS administrative operations. You are capable of designing and implementing an appropriate organizational structure to ensure efficient long-term IMDS processing within the company.
Furthermore, you can carry out process and data analyses, identify interfaces with optimization potential, and manage the established IMDS process efficiently. You maintain a comprehensive overview of the entire IMDS process and ensure the quality, currency, and compliance of the existing IMDS data with internal standards.
You also ensure up-to-date material reporting through an established change management system. You understand the implications of IMDS and material compliance requirements for your products and are able to incorporate these into the development of future products.
Finally, you are able to assess the data quality provided by your suppliers and initiate measures to improve it. You are also capable of administering the IMDS company account, including all associated roles.
This certification is recognized by the IMDS Steering Committee of the OEMs as well as by DXC Technology, the developer of IMDS, and is therefore internationally accepted and acknowledged across the entire automotive supply chain.
