iPCA – Administration and User Management (No. 5150)
The security of the iPCA system is guaranteed, among other things, by the authorisation of the users. Furthermore, individual users can be given different authorisations and user rights. It is therefore important for every company that uses iPCA as an in-house solution to define an efficient and sensible rights and access management system. In the day-to-day running of an iPCA, areas of responsibility change repeatedly, or personnel changes take place. User authorisations and users in the iPCA must then be changed, created or deactivated. Passwords must be reset or accesses that were limited to a certain period of time must be extended. In this webinar, you will learn how to properly manage your company in the iPCA and what you need to pay attention to in order to guarantee access and authorisations in line with internal requirements.
Objective
You are familiar with the concept and criteria for efficient and secure administration in the iPCA system. You understand the modules you have licensed from iPoint and can then configure them independently. You know the scope of your own master data and can correctly interpret and adjust application parameters that have already been set. You are familiar with the various rights and functions of user roles in the iPCA and learn how to create and modify users, and how to regularly check that they are up to date, as well as how to assign IMDS contacts.
You will gain confidence in using the iPCA administration interface and will be able to manage users, roles, and access rights efficiently, in compliance with regulations, and independently. This will ensure secure system usage over the long term and enable you to respond flexibly to organizational changes.
