Our training topics

Using Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) in IMDS (No. 6108)

Objective

In this seminar, we will show you how to correctly enter PCF information in IMDS so that you can improve your company’s reporting with IMDS in the future. After participating, you will understand the background behind the introduction of the corresponding fields, particularly in connection with the Catena-X PCF Rulebook and current developments in the automotive industry. You will be able to properly document transmitted or calculated PCF information in IMDS and enter all related data in accordance with the current requirements of IMDS-Rec027. The focus is exclusively on data entry and not on the calculation of emissions. You will be able to confidently use relevant input fields, such as production location, PCF information, and other GHG-related data. In addition, you will be familiar with typical challenges and change management and know how to send, receive, and update material data sheets (MDS) with PCF information.

Target Group

The training is aimed at managers and users from the areas of IMDS, quality management, design, materials laboratories, environmental management, and LCA.
