VDA – German Association of the Automotive Industry

The main objectives of the VDA consist in researching and producing for sustainable and advanced mobility. The interests of the German automobile industry on the national and international fronts form the core commitment of the VDA.

It's membership consists of automobile manufacturers, suppliers and manufacturers of trailers, platforms and containers. Around 600 companies from the automotive sector have joined forces with the VDA.

CLEPA – The European Association of Automotive Suppliers

77 of the most reputed suppliers and 27 national and European associations are members of the CLEPA. Together they represent more than 3000 companies, employ over three million people and offer the complete product and service palette of the automotive supply chain.

CLEPA's official seat being Brussels, it is a regular contact partner for European institutions, the United Nations and affiliated organisations like ACEA, JAM, MEMA etc.

ZVEI – Der Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V.

The ZVEI (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association) represents the interests of the German electro industry on policies pertaining to economics, technology and the environment at the national, European and international levels. It provides information focussed on the economic, technological and statutory provisions for the electro industry in Germany.

The ZVEI promotes development and application of new technologies through policy proposals on research, technology, environmental protection, education and science.

AIAG – The Automotive Industry Action Group

The AIAG is an internationally recognised organisation founded in 1982 by a group of visionary executives of Chrysler, Ford Motor Company and General Motors. Its objective is to offer an open platform for members to co-operate on the development and sharing of solutions that boost the diversity of the automotive industry.

The focus of AIAG's efforts is on the constant advancement of business processes and practices to the inclusion of all business partners across the supply chain.

ACEA – European Automobile Manufacturers Association

The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), founded in 1991, represents the interests of 15 European automobile, truck and bus manufacturers at the EU level. Its members consist of the most important automobile companies, who have joined forces in forming an active group to ensure effective communication and successful negotiations in matters relating to the field of law, technology and ecology, etc.

Members of the ACEA compete in the automobile market and support free and fair competition as a trade policy and legal concept. The ACEA is an economically oriented advocacy group. It is headquartered in Brussels and consists of a general secretary and the secretariat. In the years 1995 and 2004 ACEA also opened additional offices in Tokyo and Peking.
