iPCA — CSI Developer (No. 5170)
CSI (Compliance and Substance Inspector) is a functionality within the IPoint Compliance Agent (iPCA) that enables the configuration and automated processing of substance-related compliance checks. With CSI, rules can be defined to verify whether products, materials, or substance data meet specific legal or customer-specific requirements, for example under ELV and REACH. Among other things CSI supports the efficient maintenance of compliance content as well as clear traceability and standardization.
Objective
You are familiar with the basics of the iPCA functionality CSI (Compliance and Substance Inspector) and you get an overview of the process of the CSI. You understand the purpose and use of substance groups and user notifications. You are able to create the required rules based on regulatory documents like the ELV (2000/53/EG).
You can compile rule groups by assigning base-rules as well as exemption- and condition-rules. You also know how to release rule groups for specific user privileges. You will gain an overview of the rule groups, and you learn how to apply them in different check areas of the iPoint Compliance Agent.
