Objective
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) No. 528/2012, its structure, and its legal significance. You will learn how biocidal products are classified based on target organisms and product types, and how they differ from treated articles.
In addition, you will understand the process of active substance approval and product authorization, as well as the resulting obligations for manufacturers, importers, and distributors.
Upon completion of the seminar, you will be able to assess whether your company’s products fall under the Biocidal Products Regulation, what documentation is required, and how regulatory requirements can be incorporated into product evaluation and communication.
